Bents Garden Centre 3

Just spent a lovely morning at Bents Garden Centre near Warrington.

The weather here is better than it’s been for weeks so I sat outside by their lovely pond taking in the sun and watching the geese on the pond.

I also managed to bag a bargain; a lovely yellow Dahlia, Dahlia Kelvin Floodlight, for just £3! It is supposed to have enormous flowers up to 11ins across and the plant grows to 36ins high.

I’ll take a photo when it’s flowering.

I love Bents, it’s my favourite garden centre. If you’ve never been before their address is Warrington Road, Glazebury, Warrington, Cheshire, WA3 5NT.

I must be honest and say that Bents is a glorified, over-priced garden centre with ‘dillusions of grandure’
Impressed? Hardly! My credit care will not be ‘abused’ again!!
    Angry? Hell yeah!!

    Hi Mike,

everyone is entitled to their own opinions and I’m sure Bents are open to honest criticism so, of course, I’ll publish your comment; although I did remove your phone number.

I will continue to enjoy Bents and perhaps others could add their view about this wonderful garden centre.

The yellow dahlia, Dahlia Kelvin Floodlight, is flowering and it’s lovely. I’ll post a photo next week as I’m off to the Ryder Cup.
