Bodnant Garden – Snowdonia

Bodnant Garden is one of the most beautiful gardens in the UK, spanning some 80 acres and is situated above the River Conwy on ground sloping towards the west and looking across the valley towards the Snowdonia range.

Bokashi Home Composting Update

I have had my Bokashi Home Composting system since mid March and today I got my first supply of liquid which I will mix with water and use as a fertiliseron the garden.

Warbreck Garden Centre Sold

I am a great lover of Warbreck Garden Centre in Lathom and was sorry to hear that it is being sold. Let’s hope that the new owners retain the character of the place.

Plant of the Month for May

Dicentra spectabilis or Bleeding Heart is one of the first plants to emerge in late spring and has arching sprays of dainty, rose-pink, heart-shaped flowers above fern-like, fresh green leaves.
